Appalachian Research and Defense Fund of Kentucky: providing free legal services to the poor and vulnerable in eastern and south central Kentucky. 

Catholic Charities of Louisville, Immigration Legal Services: a BIA-recognized office, providing legal assistance and counseling to low- and moderate-income immigrants and refugees. 

Fayette County Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service: making referrals to private attorneys in Bourbon, Clark, Fayette, Franklin, Jessamine, Madison, Scott, and Woodford counties.

Kentucky Lawyer Referral Service (in conjunction with the Louisville Bar Association): making referrals to private attorneys in Breckenridge, Bullitt, Hardin, Henry, Jefferson, Larue, Meade, Nelson, Oldham, Shelby, Spencer, and Trimble counties.

Kentucky Legal Aid: assisting low-income families, elderly, disabled, and other vulnerable individuals in south central and western Kentucky to resolve legal problems that are barriers to self-sufficiency.

Kentucky Office of the Attorney General, Office of Victims Advocacy: providing support and resources to victims of crime across the Commonwealth. 

Kentucky Protection & Advocacy: protecting and promoting the rights of Kentuckians with disabilities through legally-based individual and systemic advocacy and education.

Legal Aid of the Bluegrass: resolving the most important problems of low-income and other vulnerable people by providing high-quality legal assistance through direct representation, education, advice, advocacy, and coordination with other community resources in central and northern/north-eastern Kentucky.

Legal Aid Society of Louisville: providing free legal representation to low-income people in Jefferson and surrounding counties.

Lexington Fair Housing Council: investigates complaints of discrimination in housing and lending practices. The Council assists aggrieved individuals through the process of their complaints and in finding attorneys to represent them.

Maxwell Street Legal Clinic: providing high-quality, low-cost legal assistance for immigrant and refugee communities of Kentucky.

Northern Kentucky Bar Association Lawyer Referral Service: making referrals to private attorneys in Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen, and Pendleton counties

National Legal Resources

Battered Women’s Justice Project, including the National Center on Protection Orders and Full Faith and Credit, and the National Clearinghouse for the Defense of Battered Women: provides resources, technical assistance, training, and support for battered women involved in the civil and criminal court systems, and the advocates and attorneys who represent them.

Womenslaw.org: a state-by-state domestic violence resource site, including legal resources for victims and their supporters.
