Shop and Share

February 2nd, 2019 marks Shop & Share's 10th anniversary event! Shop and Share is a one-day fundraiser where shoppers are asked to shop for what they need and share an item with their local domestic violence program.

All Kroger stores throughout Kentucky participate, as well as Food City, Super Dollar, and some IGA and Save-A-Lot stores.

Over the past 9 years, more than $4.5 million in goods and monetary donations have been raised for KCADV's 15 domestic violence programs.

Other partners include: the Governor and First Lady’s offices; Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana; Girl Scouts of Kentucky’s Wilderness Road Council; General Federation of Women’s Clubs; and Kentucky’s Drug Court.

Donated items allow KCADV programs to use their limited budgets to provide services to the men, women, and children of Kentucky who seek assistance in rebuilding their lives after abuse.

To get involved, contact the domestic violence program that serves your county to sign up to volunteer at a nearby grocery store, collecting donations from shoppers, or simply plan to grocery shop Saturday, February 2 between 9am-5pm to donate requested items to your local shelter.
