Program Support Specialist, Full-time  


KCADV is seeking a full-time (40 hours a week) Program Support Specialist to join our team. The Program Support Specialist will be responsible for providing support services to one or more teams to implement KCADV’s mission and strategic vision. 


Some of the activities our teams engage in are as follows:

  • regulatory, executive, and legislative policy advocacy. 
  • product development, grant writing, grant administration, fundraising, research & evaluation, and communication efforts. 
  • building capacity of member programs through training and technical assistance to provide trauma-informed services. 
  • Assisting member programs, community partners, and allied professionals as needed with specific technical assistance requests. 
  • Creating and/or promoting membership develop opportunities including compliance monitoring, program review, and program support.

  • Education: Degree not essential; however, Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree may increase earning potential. 
  • Experience:  1-5 years of experience in the area of expertise that will support KCADV’s mission and vision.  
  • Skills: 
    • Personal computer knowledge including Excel software. 

o      Basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge a plus but not required.

o      High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. 


Major Responsibilities:

·      Enter/update simple accounting/finance data 

·      Generate receivable and payable reports from the accounting system

·      Generate statements of financial grant activities 

·      Maintain inventory lists 

·      Enter programmatic data for a variety of projects

·      Coordinate logistics for training activities

·      Process applicant requests for KCADV Certification


Starting Salary: $38,000 


Hours and Benefits: This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) and includes a flexible schedule with telework option available after introductory period.
